Return Policy

1. Return Window
Returns are accepted within 90 days of the purchase date listed on the invoice.
2. Eligible & Ineligible Items
- Returns will ONLY be accepted for stock trim and hardware.
- The following items are NOT RETURNABLE: Custom doors, clearance items, discontinued items, special orders, and other non-stock items.
3. Return Conditions
- Material must be clean, uncut, and unused (free of dust, dirt, stains, etc.).
- Trim must be grouped together in one accessible location for pickup.
- Material not meeting these conditions will be rejected and stored at the Darpet warehouse for up to 30 days before being discarded.
4. Pickup Procedure
Excess material from the end of a job can be picked up at the cost of a standard delivery charge. An authorized individual must be present at the time of pickup to load the material onto the truck.
5. Restocking Fees
Large returns may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%, at the sole discretion of Darpet. All applicable fees will be deducted from any credit issued.
6. Credit & Refunds
- Credit is issued once material is received and inspected by the Darpet warehouse.
- Refund credits will be processed within 4–6 business days.
- Credits will remain on the account until the customer provides instructions (apply to next purchase, refund to credit card, or issue a check).
- Cash refunds will be issued by check.
- Sending merchandise does not guarantee a refund; items must comply with this policy.
7. Limitations of Liability
Darpet, Inc. is not responsible for:
- Damages resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, or manufacturing defects.
- The cost of installation, repainting, refinishing, or any labor associated with replacement items.
If the factory finish is proven defective, Darpet may, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the product in exchange for the returned product.
