Delivery: 2–3 Business Days + Applicable Production Time
Local delivery is available within Darpet’s designated local delivery area. Once your order is ready to ship, our team will contact you to schedule a delivery date.
Delivery Details
- Delivery timeframe: 2–3 business days after your order is ready to ship
- Production time: Custom and built-to-order products require additional production time before delivery can be scheduled
- Delivery type: Curbside delivery only
- Unloading: Customers are responsible for providing two (2) people to safely unload the order from the delivery truck
- Scheduling: Darpet will contact you to coordinate your delivery date once your order is ready
Important: Production Time Is Separate
For custom or built-to-order products, the 2–3 business day delivery timeframe does not begin when the order is placed. Production must be completed first.

Local pickup is available from Darpet’s Franklin Park facility. Once your order is ready for pickup, our team will notify you with pickup instructions.
Pickup Details
- Pickup location: Darpet Doors & Trim, 9441 W Fullerton Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131
- Pickup timeframe: Orders can be picked up once they are ready
- Production time: Custom and built-to-order products require additional production time before they are available for pickup
- Loading: Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is suitable for the size and quantity of the order
- Pickup notification: Darpet will contact you when your order is ready for pickup
- Same-day pickup: Qualifying in-stock, non-custom slabs, trim, and accessories may be available for same-day pickup when ordered by 12:00 PM CST, subject to availability
Important: Production Time Is Separate
For custom or built-to-order products, the order must complete production before it can be picked up. The production timeframe begins after the order and required specifications are confirmed.
Order Placed → Production → Order Ready → Pickup Notification → Customer Pickup
For in-stock products that do not require production or additional machining, pickup may be available sooner.
LTL Freight
Freight: Carrier Transit Time + Applicable Production Time
LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight is available for qualifying orders throughout the contiguous United States. LTL is generally used for larger, heavier, or oversized orders that are not suitable for standard parcel shipping.

- Service area: Contiguous United States
- Transit time: Varies by destination and carrier
- Production time: Custom and built-to-order products require additional production time before the shipment can be arranged
- Delivery type: Typically curbside delivery with lift gate
- Unloading: Varies by carrier -customers may be responsible for unloading the shipment
- Scheduling: The freight carrier will coordinate delivery with the customer when the shipment is in transit
- Tracking: Tracking information will be provided when available
Important: Production Time Is Separate
For custom or built-to-order products, production must be completed before Darpet can prepare the order for freight shipment. Freight transit time begins after the order has completed production and has been released to the carrier.
Order Placed → Production → Order Ready → Freight Arranged → Carrier Transit → Delivery
Because LTL transit times vary by destination and carrier, customers should allow additional time beyond the product's stated production timeframe when planning a project.
Parcel Shipping
Parcel shipping is available for qualifying smaller and lighter orders. This may include hardware, accessories, smaller trim orders, and other products that meet standard parcel carrier size and weight requirements.

- Delivery: Packages are delivered by a standard parcel carrier
- Tracking: Tracking information will be provided when available
- Package requirements: Orders exceeding parcel carrier size or weight limits may require LTL freight instead
Custom Built-to-Order Products
Need it by a specific date? Plan around production time first.
Custom-built products must be manufactured before they can be picked up or shipped. Production time is separate from delivery or transit time.
Typical Production Times
- In-stock, qualifying products — may be available for immediate pickup
- Prehung doors — approximately 1 week
- F-Series / D-Series / Grooved — approximately 4 weeks
- Other custom-built products — production time varies
