What Is Rosette?
A decorative block used behind a door casing or around trim joints instead of a traditional mitered corner.
A rosette is a decorative square or shaped block commonly placed at the upper corners of door casing. It creates a finished transition between casing legs and the head casing without requiring a conventional mitered joint.
