Doors

What Is Door Slab?

The door itself without the surrounding jamb, frame, or preinstalled hardware.

A door slab is the door itself, separate from the jamb or frame. A slab may be supplied unfinished or finished and may be machined for hinges, bores, or other hardware depending on the order.

Buying Considerations

Measure the existing opening carefully and confirm slab size, thickness, handing, hinge locations, bore location, edge preparation, and finish requirements. A slab replacement can require field matching to the existing jamb.
