Do you offer deliveries? +

We do offer deliveries for $199 up to 20 miles and can deliver outside that zone, just ask your sales representative for more information!

What color hinges do you have? +

We stock satin nickel, dark bronze, black and polished chrome. Special orders can be placed for other materials.

Can you make custom doors? +

Whether you need a custom size, specific design, or need something special for hardware, most of the time we can come up with something to meet your needs! We have some of the most advanced technology and strive to meet your needs.

Do you have locksets? +

Darpet stocks 9 different lockset designs, we have models in our showroom!

Do your slabs come prepped for hinges and a lockset? +

Our slabs do NOT come prepped for hinges and a lockset.

Can I order more than just a slab? +

You can! We make our prehungs in house, stock bifolds, have barn door hardware, material for pocket doors, bypass doors, and doors with catches! Ask your sales representative to help figure out what is best for your needs!

What is a jamb depth? +

Jamb depth is the wall thickness, which is equal to your stud size, plus both sides of your dry wall. Example: 2x4 wall stud + 2 layers of 5/8" dry wall = 4-7/8" jamb depth

Can I order these doors painted? +

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this service.

If I order prehungs, what is the lead time for this material? +

Typically, our lead time is around a week, however, we do tend to change or extend lead times often. Give one of our sales representatives a call so we can tell you current lead time.

How many hinges come on a prehung door? +

The height of the door will dictate how many hinges, 6'8" (80") and 7'0" (84") doors will have 3 hinges, 8'0" (96") will have 4 hinges.

What is your return policy? +

Returns are accepted within 90 days of the purchase date listed on the invoice. Access material from the end of a job can be picked up at the cost of a standard delivery charge. Trim must be grouped together and placed in one spot of the house that is easily accessible for the driver. An authorized individual is required to be present at the time of pick up to help load the material onto the truck. All doors, clearance, discontinued items, special orders and other non-stock items are NOT RETURNABLE. Returns will ONLY be taken for STOCK trim and hardware. Material must be clean of any dust, dirt, stains, etc., un-cut and un-used. Credit will be given to the customer once material is received and inspected by the DARPET warehouse. Darpet reserves the right to reject any trim that does not meet the proper return conditions. The rejected material will remain in the Darpet warehouse for customer to pick up, after 30 days it will be discarded. Refund credits will be received within 4-6 business days and will remain on the account until customer calls with directions whether to leave the credit on the account for the next purchase, return to credit card or issue a check. Cash refunds will be issued in a form of a check. Sending merchandise does not constitute a commitment from Darpet, Inc. to refund any purchase amount. Returns must still comply with our standard warranty and return policy. All restocking and fees associated with the return will be deducted from any credit issued. Darpet, Inc. shall not under any circumstances be held responsible for any damages whatsoever arising from the improper use, incorrect installation and/or manufacturing defect of the merchandise sold, the cost of installation, repainting, refinishing or any labor associated or related to the replacement item. Should the factory finish be proven defective, we will at our option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the product or component, in exchange for the product.

Do you come to the jobsite to measure doors & trim? +

We do not offer this service, we recommend having your contractor provide this information to you. If you have a larger project, please contact us.

What is the difference between hollow and solid core? +

Hollow core doors are lighter, with nothing between the front & back of the door. Solid core doors are heavier with a particle board core on the inside of the door.

How do I place an order? +

Once your contractor has provided the measurements, or you have told them what you want, the order can be placed one of two ways, the first - come on in to our office and place the order face to face with a sales representative, sign paper work and head home to enjoy the rest of your day! The second is placing the order via email, all of the steps in person will need to take place as well, order must be signed and paid for before the order will move into production.

What type of materials do you have? +

We stock many different materials for our trim, here are the acronyms for your reference: MDF - Medium Density Fiberboard (primed), FJP - Finger Jointed Pine (primed), PRI - Finger Jointed Poplar (primed), POP - Poplar (unprimed), OAK - Oak (unprimed).
