Darpet Policy


We ask that you read the following information to better prepare your site and personnel for our delivery.

Upon arrival the driver will ask for final payment (check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover only, we do not accept American Express)

Customer will be notified of their delivery the day before and advised of a three hour delivery time period. We make every effort to accommodate to customer’s delivery schedule, however we cannot promise the exact time for the delivery.

If we don’t receive a verbal confirmation of your delivery the day before, it will be canceled.

Cancelation or reschedule must be done 24 hours before delivery date to avoid additional charges.

We provide a curbside delivery only, the customer must provide people to unload and bring material onto the jobsite. We recommend a crew on site of at least two people.

The driver will not back into your driveway or lot.

The driver will not assist with carrying doors or trim, once the material is off the truck.

Customer must have an authorized agent on site to examine the material and perform the delivery requirements.

All damage, claims or missing items must be reported to the driver at the time of delivery. If you suspect damage, you must note “damage” on the delivery ticket with your signature and call us immediately. 

All merchandise must be checked upon arrival. No shortage claim will be accepted unless it was made in writing on the delivery ticket the day of the receipt of the merchandise.

Darpet, Inc. reserves the right to make partial shipments and back-order items when items are not in stock, without liability or responsibility of any kind for any added transportation costs of any other loss of damage incurred by reason of such back-orders.

Backorders may occur without prior notice and we will do our best to notify you of the status as soon as it becomes available

All questions about missing material, backorders, final payments or damage must be directed to the office, the driver has no knowledge of that information.

If any of the above restrictions are not met by the customer or crew on site our driver will not wait longer than 15 minutes to start unloading and additional delivery charges will apply.

Delivery charge is $99 up to 20 miles.



Returns are accepted within 90 days of the purchase date listed on the invoice.

Access material from the end of a job can be picked up at the cost of a standard delivery charge.

Trim must be grouped together and placed in one spot of the house that is easily accessible for the driver. An authorized individual is required to be present at the time of pick up to help load the material onto the truck.

All doors, windows, clearance, discontinued items, special orders and other non-stock items are NOT RETURNABLE.

Returns will ONLY be taken for STOCK trim.  Material must be clean of any dust, dirt, stains and etc., un-cut and un-used.

Credit will be given to the customer once material is received and inspected by the DARPET warehouse.  Darpet reserves the right to reject any trim that does not meet the proper return conditions.  The rejected material will remain in the Darpet warehouse for customer to pick and after 30 days it will be discarded.

Refund credits will be received within 4-6 business days and will remain on the account until customer calls with directions whether to leave the credit on the account for the next purchase, return to credit card or issue a check.  Cash refunds will be issued in a form of a check.

Sending merchandise does not constitute a commitment from Darpet, Inc. to refund any purchase amount. Returns must still comply with our standard warranty and return policy.

All restocking and fees associated with the return will be deducted from any credit issued.

Darpet, Inc. shall not under any circumstances be held responsible for any damages whatsoever arising from the improper use, incorrect installation and/or manufacturing defect of the merchandise sold, the cost of installation, repainting, refinishing or any labor associated or related to the replacement item.

Should the factory finish be proven defective, we will at our option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the product or component, in exchange for the product.


The customer has 24 hours to cancel their special order and/or prehung doors. Cancellations must be submitted in a written format and sent via email to olga@darpet.com. Special order items and prehung doors cannot be canceled or returned if they have already been made. If the order has left our facility, it will need to be returned, and will be treated as a return. At this point the customer is responsible for return shipping expenses.

Special Order items: any delivery date/lead time may be given by Darpet, Inc., from time to time it will be an approximate date and may depend on factors that are out of the control of Darpet, Inc., without liability or responsibility of any kind for any added transportation costs of any other loss of damage incurred by reason of such delays.


In order to process a warranty claim, customer must provide proof of purchase and pictures of defective material.DARPET-WARRANTY
